Salisu is the managing partner of NatQuest Limited Africa, and a leading consultant for the firm on people, learning, supply chain and technology that help transformation of business functions and accelerate the achievement of firms strategic business objectives efficiently and effectively.
As an experienced procurement and supply chain professional with more than a decade of experience across multiple industries and academia, Salisu has managed and implemented several projects with high impact such as IPPIS, PICA CADTrack project, NNPC CDP, FIRS- CBAMS, GBIS-Ministry of Finance, CDP-PZ Cussons, PCNI capacity development programmes amongst others. His recent project covers research on Blockchain adoption in the oil and gas supply chain, explicitly investigating stakeholders’ perception of blockchain adoption in the supply chain at the University of Strathclyde Glasgow.
Salisu is a chartered fellow (FCIPS) of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) and a fellow (FCILRM) of Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management as well as a member of Chartered Management Institute (CMI) UK, International Society of professional innovation management (ISPIM), the council of supply chain management practitioners just a few to mention.
Salisu holds MSc Supply Chain from Aberdeen Business School of the Robert Gordon University Aberdeen UK and is currently, doctorate research at the University of Strathclyde Glasgow, United Kingdom. His areas of interest include consulting and collaboration on critical areas of digital supply chain transformation, capacity building programmes and policy strategy and implementation for public and private sector organisations.
SALISU has authored and co-authored several conference papers and journal articles – recently emerged 1st runner up – the best paper award titled (an assessment of organizational behaviors on adoption of blockchain technology in supply chain) at ERPBSS2020 Dubai
